We are seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data infrastructure and high-volume data pipelines. In this role, you will collaborate with data science teams, resolve complex data challenges, and mentor junior engineers within a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline & System Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable data processing systems and pipelines to ingest, process, and store large-scale datasets.
Optimization & Performance: Enhance data infrastructure for maximum performance, efficiency, and reliability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists and analysts to understand requirements and implement technical data solutions.
Troubleshooting & Support: Identify, debug, and resolve data issues and pipeline bottlenecks promptly.
Mentorship & Best Practices: Mentor junior data engineers on technical skills, Agile practices, and engineering standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.
Technical Expertise: Core background in Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, and Big Data technologies.
Key Technical Skills & Certifications
Platforms: Databricks Platform, Snowflake, Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
Certifications (Preferred): Azure Data Engineer Associate / Solutions Architect Expert, Databricks Data Engineer Professional / Apache Spark Developer, Cloudera Certified Professional.
Methodologies & Soft Skills: Agile Methodology, Design Thinking, Data Literacy, and Client Relations/Storytelling.
Language: Proficient / C2 level English communication skills.
