Context & Role Overview
EverTeam is a cloud-based internal collaboration and monitoring platform that allows customer care agents and team leads to train, work, and communicate within a single unified system. We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in Node.js and AWS to build reliable, scalable, and secure backend solutions.
Location: Remote (Candidate must be located and eligible to work in India).
Team Structure: Organized in an Agile Scrum squad (6–8 members) including a Product Owner, Lead Developer/Scrum Master, Developers, and QA Engineers, supported by dedicated DevOps and UI/UX team members.
Key Responsibilities & Missions
Clean Code & Development: Write reusable, efficient, and scalable backend code (primarily JavaScript/Node.js).
System Maintenance & Scaling: Maintain, orchestrate, and optimize core backend services; develop innovative solutions to solve scaling challenges.
Database Optimization: Identify, troubleshoot, and fix database performance issues, specifically query performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Node.js and AWS cloud infrastructure.
AWS & Infrastructure: Hands-on familiarity with AWS Serverless architectures (Lambda, Aurora, Fargate, API Gateway), CloudFormation, and containerization using Docker & Fargate.
Databases: Advanced skills in MySQL and DynamoDB, with proven expertise in query tuning and performance optimization.
Communication: Fluent spoken and written English skills.
Bonus Skill: Experience with Vue.js is a plus.
