Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, the Engineer II – Software Engineering designs, develops, and troubleshoots software applications within the Connected Services domain. This role focuses on building scalable .NET Core solutions, writing verification plans, debugging defect tickets, and providing optimized software designs to meet client specifications.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Solution Design & Development: Write, test, and integrate software components into fully functional systems; run simulations, conduct FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and optimize software features to ensure cost efficiency and performance.
Support, Testing & Maintenance: Perform bug fixing, debug defect tickets, upgrade existing systems, and develop software verification and quality assurance procedures with minimal latency.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, version history, time-sheets, and design repositories; prepare weekly/monthly status reports and conduct written knowledge transfers.
Performance Parameters
Design & Delivery: Adherence to project schedules, throughput percentage, and 100% error-free onboarding and implementation.
Quality & CSAT: On-Time Delivery, zero major post-production defects, “first-time-right” accuracy, and full compliance with bi-directional traceability matrices.
Reporting: 100% on-time generation of MIS and status reports.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 5 to 8 Years of relevant software engineering experience.
Mandatory Technical Skill: .NET Core framework.
Core Competencies: Software design, debugging, unit testing/QA procedures, system upgrades, FMEA, and technical documentation.
